Study tells that, people who write or tell their dreams to someone, are more likely to reach them. So, it feels good for me to pen down them. Well, I am an average girl, but my dreams are not. Over the last few years I have been having dreams and as of now I got stuck with them. Being a non IT graduate, my dream start with stepping into a multinational IT company, but if you guys ask me to mention it clearly I will be forced to tell you about growing IT sector. I dream to be a part of this competitive technological world. My parents need myself to grab a government job where they believe their daughter will be satisfied with the high earnings along with relaxations. Myself got cherished with new technological environment, opportunities to utilize new resources and new ways of thinking. But the sad part of it resembles a situation where a bus driver wishes to fly an airplane. Because I came to know that IT mostly welcomes graduates, but only those with technical skills.
But why should I give up my dream. There is nothing impossible in this world. The very best example which I would like to mention is about the much respected person Mr. Alphonse Kannanthanam who is from Kerala, he had several miracles in his life and I do believe that its all happened because of his hard work and strong belief in his dreams. He had his school education in an average village school where the Head Master had warned his parents that he would not pass through Board examinations in the 10th class. The first miracle of his life happened, and he passed with an incredible 42% marks!! Later he started thinking about his life and he asked himself the question “why I am born” and he got his answer with another miracle, he was one of the toppers of the IAS, 1979 batch.
Indian spiritual leader, Swami Vivekananda, once spoken about the way to get success. He said, "Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life -- think of it, dream of it, and live on that idea." We are all capable to do great things. A life without dream is a waste. But the hard part of setting a dream is that many people set meaningless dream and they wonder why they don't feel any sense of achievement. We need to dedicate ourselves to accomplish the dream that we have chosen.
Keeping all these in mind, I started improving my technical skills. When the first session got over, I thought Oh God it may be out of my reach. Knowing that others are going to be monitoring my results, ensures commitment to my dream and it is extremely motivating. So I don’t want to let my dream fall by the wayside. Don’t leave your dream until you get it.
It is nice to know a person who is working hard to fulfill DREAMS.
